Had scheduled opening of pool appointment 6/9/25. After techs had left, I went to check on pool and noticed pool gauge was not working. Not knowing if it was the gauge or something else, I called to have someone come out to check which I feel they should have done when opening the pool. 40 minutes to closing time, I have still not heard back from anyone. Had to turn off pool pump as not to cause any damage not knowing what the problem is. Very upset as I paid $325 and should have at least had a return phone call. After receiving a call back, without having to made another service call, Brad came to check the problem. It was the gauge and it was replaced. Very grateful someone was able to come out that late. Gauge replaced, pump back on, and all is good. Thanks so much! ~ Patricia
We have been going to Clearwater pools and spas for our water analysis, as well as for pool chemicals and supplies. It has always been a positive atmosphere and experience. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Joey who helped me pick out and purchase a new above ground replacement pool. The entire transaction could not have been more smooth. Joey was friendly and made excellent recommendations, helping me get the product I wanted within my budget. He followed up quickly to help arrange the particulars necessary for delivery and he helped iron out some minor installation challenges. Sent from my iPhone Hey Jason, Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am. Today we were scheduled for our pool opening. This is never an easy job for your team due to the waterfall and size of the pool. They did a great job getting the cover off and stored and then the pump motor blew the circuit breaker and was clearly broken. I was so disappointed. Anticipating that it would be at least be days before we would be able to get up and running. Your guy, Tim, went back to the store and came back with a new pump. He worked until 6pm putting in the new pump and getting us up and running. I am so appreciative of the extra mile he went to help us! That’s why we love Clearwater! Thank you! Jane ~ Jane K
I highly recommend Clearwater Pools and Spa. My husband and I met with Brendan who was so knowledgeable on everything pools. He walked us through the whole process and made our decision making so easy. The showroom is fully stocked and has a plethora of choices. I was so impressed with pricing and that we found a great pool in our budget. I honestly did not think a pool would be so affordable and have so many options. We are excited to have a new pool for many years to come. We will definitely continue to use Clearwater for future purchases. Hopefully our next purchase will be a jacuzzi. We purchased a new swim spa from another vendor that did not offer good customer support. In the beginning stages, we were having trouble balancing the chemicals and decided to take water samples to Clearwater since they are close to our home. Everyone there is friendly and helpful! Joey helped us a handful of times offering sound advice. After a week of a stressful cloudy swim spa, I am pleased to report that we have clear water today! Clearwater will be our go to for all things related to our swim spa! If you stop in the shop, there is even entertainment if you like playing ball with an awesome canine! I had a problem when I opened my pool. We weren’t exactly sure if the problem was in the underground line or in the filter itself. I called numerous pool places, including the one I’ve been buying my chemicals, etc from for years. Not one seemed to care that my problem needed immediate attention. I was told they couldn’t schedule me for 3-4 weeks out and no mention of emergency help was given. My pool is a larger inground pool and my concerns about the water were mounting. I even called a plumber who wouldn’t attempt to snake the lines. I called Clearwater (I had dealt with ABC pools at this location years ago and ALL OF THE STAFF HERE IMMEDIATELY TRUED TI COME UP WUTH SOLUTIONS AND OFFERED EMERGENCY HELP. JASON IS ESPECIALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL And HE EVEN CAME OUT HIMSELF TO CHECK OUR PROGRESS. It was like getting the “old time” high standard of customer service! ~ June D
My husband and I contacted Clearwater Pool & Spa about losing water from our pool and wanting the liner replaced. Steve and Adam both listened to our concerns and discovered not only did the liner need replacing but the plumbing underground was leaking as well. Steve estimated a time for the work to start and be completed. He was pretty much exact as to schedule start date and finish. Steve, Adam and crew were hard working, polite and cleaned up after job was completed. Thank you so much for your honesty and attention to detail. Any other company would have just put in a liner and called it a day still leaving us with a leak. Now we are enjoying our beautiful pool once again. ~ Kathy M
My experience, as a new customer this year, with Clearwater Pools, has been an outstanding one with each encounter. Every phone interaction has been handled with professionalism and knowledge of their brand. In early spring, a technician came and replaced a pool heater part, exchanging conversation that let me know, “this guy knows what he is doing.” I was charged fairly. At pool opening day, when Stone and Jarod pulled up in their little red truck, hopped out suiting neat, clean company tee shirts with high energy as if I were the first pool of the day..I was their last at 5:00pm. They greeted me and went right to work totally focused on the job at hand. They were friendly and answered each question I had with a very nice attitude. Clearwater pools and spas in White Marsh has been my go to. This is my first year with a salt cell pool and I was pretty much clueless because I had a chlorine pool before. They have always been patient with me and gave me the right suggestions and information that I needed. They have always been swift when I needed service done at the house and didn’t leave until it was fully corrected. They never tried to sell me anything I didn’t need and even told me ways that I could save costs and when it appeared to be unnecessary for me to buy something. I’ve been using Clearwater Pool and Spa to open my pool for a few seasons now, ever since they built my in ground pool, and every year the process is absolutely seamless. Their team is professional, efficient (especially Ryan), and always happy to answer any questions I have..no matter how big or small. Excellent job, It started to rain just after the guys got here. Not only did they have to close the pool but, they also had a cover install. My pool is not your normal pool setting , many different surfaces to contend with. The guys went about their business , taking their time to do a professional job. There were a few things that needed to be moved . They cleaned up behind themselves and replaced all the things they moved. Never once did I see them rush to get finished even though they were getting soaked. They even answered my questions and explained all I needed to know. Fabulous job guys, tip of the cap to you both. Hello, I have been using Clearwater Pool & Spa since 2013 when I had my unground pool installed. They did the install and they have maintained it annually with the openings and closing. Their service has been excellent. Additionally, their responsiveness to the two pool issues I’ve encountered was awesome. One was the pool pump went out, I called and they had it replaced and pool ready to go in 24 hours. The other was my pool robot went down, I took it to the store and they provided a loaner until mine was repaired. A great business with good people who are responsive. They opened pool on 7 May, I can swim in it on 8 May. Five stars! ~ Roger's D
6/5/25 New update... Customer service is also really great! Techs Ryan & Bill came out today to repair some things on our pool, adhere the pool clips, plus to correct a leak from our pool pump pipe. They corrected it all asap and were both so knowledgeable, thorough, personable, polite, quick! Last months update: Great store! Everyone there are always so nice and helpful, especially Joey! He is so knowledgeable, personable, caring and patient. Joey and all the staff know so much about pools and spas and carry the latest equipment and supplies. Prices are great! Our go to for all of our pool and spa needs.❤️😊👍🏼 ~ Karen
My whole pool experience is better with Clearwater. After 20+ years with another pool service I switched over to Clearwater in 2024 after being referred by other pool owners. The Best decision I’ve ever made. My pool has never looked so good and the crew that services it every week is top notch. I really enjoy the professionalism of a text when they are going to be there that week and the photos and complete detail of what was done which includes chemicals and everything that was done on their visit. My wife and I moved to MD a couple years ago and bought a home that has an older spa. We've never owned a spa before, but Clearwater Pool & Spa has made it painless. We call them whenever we have an issue with out 300-gallon hand-me-down. Their onsite technician, DJ, usually comes out to help us and he's always willing, able, and patient to answer our questions and/or teach us how to do things ourselves. We'll enjoy this old spa as long as we can, and when it's time to upgrade, we'll make sure we check-in with Clearwater to help us make the best decision. ~ David S
Our hot tub had lost power. Our repair appointment was on a Monday but their response team still addressed our concerns over the weekend regarding the below freezing air temperatures. The young men that came to fix the unit were kind, efficient and eager to explain and resolve the problems. Especially considering our deck was covered in snow and ice, they went above and beyond to ensure an accurate diagnosis and successful repair. It was a pleasure to work with such courteous and friendly staff from beginning to end. We highly recommend Clearwater Pool & Spa repair services. ~ Tammy P
We bought a new pool through Clearwater last year and highly recommend them. The staff are responsive, kind and helpful. Joey has been incredibly helpful and answered all of our new pool maintenance questions last year. He even came to the pool to help us troubleshoot. Clearwater also closed and opened our pool. DJ went above and beyond with our pools opening. He noticed an issue with some of the equipment and proactively replaced it even though it was raining. I can’t recommend Clearwater enough. As pool owners know if your motor stops working, in the middle of summer.Your in big trouble.Most companies would not come out as you don’t service with them. Clearwater came within 24hrs replaced my pool motor in about 1hr. And everything was up and running. Don’t need to register the motor, they have all the information. There is a two year warranty. If I have any other trouble, I will be calling Clearwater. Can’t beat the cost and service. They really came the rescue. ~ Syra R
I have used Clear Water as the only service provider to my hot tub that I purchased in 2013. The technicians have always arrived on time, they have been super knowledgeable, and eager to help if I have a random question. Just yesterday I was having an electric issue due to emergency switch that powers off the main power from under the hot tub... They came out this morning and reset/ diagnosed the issue before my pipes had time to freeze underneath. Always pleasant and super responsive. Thanks Clear Water! 💕 ~ RACHEL H
We utilized Clearwater Pool and Spa to purchase an above ground pool and were thrilled with the customer service we received. The staff was wonderful and worked with us on a 1:1 basis and truly gave us personalized service. Clearwater Pools and Spa came out to look at our pool this summer. The scheduling of an appointment was very easy and within a week they were out to see the pool issue. Frank the technician was honest and gave great advice. Lexi the Office Manager was eager to help and super friendly. She worked hard to meet our needs of fixing the issue as we closed our pool for the winter when that was suggested by Frank. Fair Pricing and Honest! Great experience again. We used Anthony Sylvan to build and maintain our pool. It is only 3 years old and the pump already died. We overpayed for the pool and now are completely turned off by Anthony Sylvan. I called Clearwater on Wednesday and they arranged to be here within 2 days to install my new pump. The pricing was fair and the technicians that were sent were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I am switching to Clearwater for all of my pool needs and caution anyone that may be considering Anthony Sylvan. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. ~ Jennifer E
We are first time pool owners and was having challenges finding a company to clean and service our above ground pool. After contacting Clearwater, they were able to come out the same week. The technicians that came to my home offered expert advice. Ryan in the service department was able to accommodate my request on short notice to install a new pump. I had one small concern and Ryan was able to resolve it right away. Kate in the billing department was also very helpful. Jason came out to rough in some hard piped plumbing for my above ground pool. He and his helper were great they were professional and timely. The operations manager Kate was also so nice and helpful. They were a bit pricey but gave excellent customer service. I will say for the price paid you would expect them to dig for the plumbing pipes which they did not. I had to dig hole for the pipes and backfill myself. In the future I might suggest finding a company that will dig too. But so far I am satisfied ~ Jessica “
